Yes, I remember that episode, I think they had to serve about 100 people, they brought the food with them and cooked it for them. That was a good episode, It seems like JimBob was doing a lot of the cooking that day.
Just reading some comments I missed earlier, about the school grounds, I’m not sure how they are in other States but in my State the school playgrounds are actually public playgrounds, there seems to be a rule that it’s only used by school kids during school hours but after hours anyone can play. When my kids were young there were some issues with ment disabled men going onto playgrounds, not to harm but to act ment disab.
The show title this airs on TV is “Star Spangled Duggars” in that episode some one supposedly announces “Jim Bob paid for the ingredients” As the episode has not be published to you tube nor is it posted on TLC as a full video or HULU I can not say for sure exactly what was said or who said it.
The video titled “True Compassion” (look under Duggar I think) was when The Duggars cooked and SERVED in a community homeless shelter… ( I have heard rumors that say they PAID for it but I am still looking for something besides blog posts to back it up)
Guess they do help out in THIS country as well as other countries…
MIRIAM’S KITCHEN is the name of the place where they were doing community service.
I do to…. I go through the comment sections and when I find places where it’s just rumors being repeated I try and post the facts. I’d paste the sites I get the info from but youtube has issues with links being posted in the comment sections.
Thanks, I tried to look up that episode too and it’s not posted yet obviously but you saw it too. I think I proved MsSarcia wrong on the other point, perhaps she just made a mistake, happens to all of us. No one has to like the Duggers lifestyle but they aren’t hurting anyone living the way they see fit and I just take issue with the lies.
Jim Bob served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003 and was a candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2002. From several sources including their own website.
Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes.
From the IRS = Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office.
For a 501c3 church to openly speak out, or organize in opposition to, anything that the government declares “legal,” even if it is immoral (e.g. abortion, homosexuality, etc.), that church will jeopardize its tax exempt status.
I’m telling you to go to their websites and look it up for yourself. It’s not a rumor, it’s facts. They claimed their home as a church to avoid paying bills. Which basically means anything they buy for their “Church” is tax free. Now if you choose to not believe that, that’s on your ****. I could care less… LOL I saw that espisode and told you they were invited to that school just that one day for that reading talk. The rest of what you said is a load of crap!
I may be old but I’ve been wrong many times and it doesn’t bother me one little bit, I simply asked for proof of something you claim and you refuse to comply which tells me you are probably going on rumours. There was an episode where the mom and some of the kids visited the local grade school to read with kids and play violin, they explained that they don’t mind paying taxes to Public schools even though they homeS because they think it’s important to have pub sch, you are wrong on that one
All you have to do is take your tired old bones to their website and read up on it instead of calling us all liars. Because you’re to asinine to believe us. If we’re lying, why don’t you prove us wrong? Now you grow up, get a life with whatever little time you have left that is. LOL
Well all you had to do is look it up. It’s true, they pay no taxes on their home because they claimed their home as a church. The back up proof is that you go and look it up yourself. I’m not going to do it for you.
Well until I see proof of them paying taxes on public schools. My statement whole true. They sure as hell never mention otherwise. And I know at an old age, you think you’re right, but you’re not. Don’t worry about my parents. You’re dealing with me now. If you’re parents had raised you right, you wouldn’t be here making fun of other people educations or calling names. Obviously, your parents didn’t do a great job either.
You said they paid no property taxes, declaring thier home a church with nothing to back it up, if it’s true you should have no problem producing the proof. Also that they don’t pay taxes to support public schools, again, you said it so post the proof to support what you said. I know that at 18 it’s real important to be right but this time you just aren’t. Also if your parents are ok with your foul language they didn’t do a very good job raising you.
I’m not telling any lies, perhaps you’re fabricating lies yourself to try and build your case in support of the Duggars, without knowing the true facts about them. You only call what I said lies, because you don’t know the truth. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Becuz unless you can prove me wrong. Your words don’t mean jack to me. What the hell did I lie about n e way LOL? Do explain, bet you can’t!
They haven’t done the reality show for very long, there had been a couple of specials I guess. They were debt free for years, JimBob had all kinds of jobs till he got into RealEstate and bought his commercial properties, who really cares if one is a cell phone tower? Unlike J&K+8 they will be able to support thier family when the show ends because they did it before. Who really cares if they buy used? I’m sure GoodWill or whatever love to see them coming.
Actually you might want to do your homework, you have told a lot of lies without one thing to back it up. I live in a Western State that has a lot of homeschoolers and I homeschooled mine one year after a dispute with the school but sent them back the next year when we worked it out. Homeschooling is a right we all have as parents as long as certain laws are followed they chose to homeschool but a portion of thier taxes still go to pay for public schools.

JIM BOB was a REP when he started his home church, ran for the office of Senator WHILE RUNNING HIS CHURCH.
He does NOT qualify in ANY WAY for tax free status as a CHURCH under the 501(c)3 rules.

I am posting this under yours to help… when I reply with it to some of theirs some get to get all upset over it.
Once “School Daze” is posted by some kind person you will see where the Duggars talk about paying taxes that go to support the local schools.
Property taxes are where schools get their money from.
I did look it up, it says they built thier house debt free, not tax free so the ball is back in your court.
You just want me to look it up for you. NOT! Do it yourself. I’ve just thrown the ball back in your court. Run with it…

My tired old bones….lol you are funny but I’m not the one that claimed thier house is tax exempt, the ball is in your court sweetie.
