No, I wouldn’t. I call having 3 or 4 kids one right after the other irresponsible if you are unmarried or a teenager or not financially stable. When you are in a stable, loving, marriage I do not see it as irresponsible. People used to have large families all the time. Just in modern times that is abnormal.
