I agree with Lily in the above discussion. I find the Duggars to be an inspiration. It is their right to choose t o accept God’s gift of many pregnancies. Many people who do foster care or adopt do it for the money. Some literally support themselves by adopting many special needs children. I know one family who has adopted seven. They get as much as $1400/month per child to support these children. I’m sure the children are given good care and a great home with this particular family but I know that is not always the case. The Duggars could do a spectacular job with fostering or adoption but it certainly changes the family dynamics and not always for the better to take in neglected and abused children and make them part of your family!

They do not care about the negative comments. They know the people that do that are not Christian and are just sad and lonely people and I’m sure they probably pray for those types of people. They know they are walking in the way of the Lord so they are not bothered at all by negative angry hateful people. They are full of Joy in the Lord not matter what. So, if it makes you all feel better to bash them, then go ahead. I will pray for you.

God wants people to use their brain. Perhaps you need to read your Bible a little more carefully because it talks about making a spectacle of yourself which is what the Duggar’s are doing. If they don’t want the publicitiy, then stay off the frickin’ TV. I know a LOT of Christians who think they are ridiculous. Grow a brain, Lily. You show a severe lack of intelligence.

I read The Bible very carefully and often. Show me the scriptures to back up your statements and comments. Don’t watch the show if you hate and disagree with them and the show so much. The Duggars are not making any kind of spectacle of themselves. They never said they didn’t want publicity. The negative comments don’t bother them. Those that think the Duggars are ridiculous are not true Christians. I have intelligence and a brain but you obviously do not and don’t know the Bible or God.

And God will ALSO ask the Duggar’s why they did not adopt some kids less fortunate instead of spewing out more & more to burden their older kids because Jim Bob & Michelle sure as hell aren’t parenting those younger kids.

Oh He will? But did He tell them to do that in the first place? If God wanted the Duggar to do that, then they would have. They obey God. What makes you think the older kids are burdened? Have you asked them if they were? Jim Bob and Michelle are parenting all their children that God has blessed them with and why did God bless them? Because they are obedient to God’s will for their life. God will give to those who prove to be trustworthy and responsible. What verses do you have?
