Surely they are very patient parents to have a family this large, but come on, 18? One has to wonder if this is done for the attention. How does one support a family so large? Probably they rely on contributions from others, such as manufacturers of personal healthcare items, house payments, groceries, etc. I am a mother of two, live in a very modest home of 1000 square feet, my husband has a good paying job (though I am unable to work) and just the two kids can often times be difficult to financially handle. We don't get any help from anyone and even though we have health insurance, we are drowning in medical bills, prescription drugs (I have to take 9 every day), etc. We live a very modest, clean life without a lot of luxuries, but absolutely have to buy groceries before paying bills cause otherwise if we pay bills first we are disinclined to leave enough to pay for food. We go to church every Sunday, sometimes more. I'll bet when these people go anywhere they get a lot of attention from others and that's why I think they continue to reproduce. This woman's uterus must be ready to fall out. I think their doctor needs to talk to them about birth control, sure he/she is not very approving of the continual pregnancies cause it just cannot be healthy. I suppose to each his own and it's not my place to judge these people. Maybe they should talk to Jon and Kate about having a good marriage. I must say they have to be doing something right.
