most people have to have them out because they squish the other teeth together causing them to cross over. some people however dont have to and theyre just lucky!
i had all four of mine out but in two different lots because the dentist was worried about the healing. hurt like hell for a few days but you forget all about it after

i was crying when i woke up from teeth being pulled i think it happens to everyone on anesthesia it stinks

My best friend had all four of her wisdom teeth taken out last year, and after she woke up she was also crying. The doctor said that it was normal for the anesthesia to make you emotional for a little while right after the surgery. Although poor Jill was pretty emotional before the surgery as well :)

I get such a kick out of Jill–”is there some kind of…exercise I can do to avoid this??”

why do u have to have wisdom teeth pulled out and how can u not have it pulled out? i have a 2 teeth pulled out b4 but not wisdom. one was a tooth growing out on top of another and another was at the right side of my mouth (there was a bubble there)

I’m not being harsh, I’m being real. 19 years old and she’s acting like a kid. Wonder why she still living at home raising mom/dad kids anyway? Can’t even make her own dentist appt. Why is she not in college, or have her own place, a job and her own car or something? Probably don’t even get her own share of the money from the show. JimBob have control over everything in that house. What daddy says goes.

She was 17 at the time. I had my wisdom teeth taken out at 16, and I was just as scared. Like Jill, I had never had a medical procedure done before, and I also have a phobia of needles. The thought of being knocked out also terrified me. So I don’t think her reaction was all that irrational.

no need to be harsh, if you’ve never had your teeth pulled out, then you don’t know how horrible it is. if you had to have urs pulled out, i’m pretty sure you’ll be scared.

Isn’t she like 19 years old? She’s old enough to vote and she’s acting like she’s 10. Grow up! C this is what happened when you’re under lock n key. All the Dugs teeths are yuck like that tho. LOL She’s been stuck under a bunch of babies, toddlers and middle age kids to long, now she’s acting like’em. I’m 19 and though I’ve never had to get my teeth pulled or anything like that. I’m not afraid to go to the dentist, and I can go to the dentist on my own without mommy/daddy tagging along too. :)

I had my wisdom teeth pulled a few days before this episode aired, Honestly I don’t think I would have liked to seen this episode before i had it done, just because of them swelling and everything would have scared me, but i didnt swell! But seeing this episode after i had them out was very good because i knew exactly what they were going through!!

yeah they get them when they “become a woman” they have this tradition of when it happens, michelle takes the girls out and buys the stuff they need and talks to them about it and then jim bob takes them out and talks to them about how they should be treated as women and then michelle and jim bob both give them a purity ring each.

Yeah I realized I had written the wrong name after I posted the comment.

  22. starrbeatlesqueen says:

aww, poor jill. i understand how she feels. i too have had a big fear of needles and pain that comes from it, but i don’t so much anymore.

it is scary thinking about stuff like that. what i do is just turn away and try to think of something else during the process.

  23. starrbeatlesqueen says:

It was Jana who said it, but yeah. I think they ask you questions just for reassurance.

  24. horatiosangel2 says:

    yes

  25. fountainpenuser says:

do they wear purity rings? I noticed Jill is wearing a ring on her left hand and Jana had one on when she was playing the piano.
